Next month, Cobot will be attending the Coworking Unconference Asia 2019 in Goa, India, a five day long experience that encompasses the best of the coworking and flexible workpace world, from February 20–24th. It’s an Unconference that brings together experts and insiders ready to share their stories and help the entire industry move forward.
Last year, we attended CU Asia in Malaysia and found it to be an invaluable experience. Unfortunately, we know that it can be financially difficult for many of our spaces to attend these events, which is why we’re offering two free tickets to this year’s conference! We want to support members of our community who might not have the financial means to attend on their own; and people who are finding new, unique, and diverse solutions to meet local needs.
This year’s experience is centered around growth. Coworking is entering a new phase of scaling and diversification, and it’s time we all paid attention to the new challenges that flexible worspaces are facing. In their own words, this is what makes CU Asia special:
“A 5 day long experience that brings together the region’s best coworking space operators, investors, tech folks, workplace futurists, researchers and members, to have suspiciously important conversations in delightful destinations since 2015.
It’s not a conference. And it’s more than an event. It’s an experience.
If you are interested in the coworking industry, Asia is the place to be. And if you are looking into ways of growing your coworking space, India is the perfect country to go to.”
All you have to do to win a ticket is sign up for our newsletter here and then send us a quick email at communication@cobot.me to tell us a story (300 words or fewer) of how your coworking space handled a growth-related challenge. The contest closes January 25th at noon (CET) so be sure to submit your story before the deadline. We’ll pick our two favorite answers and they’ll each get a ticket to CU Asia!
Please note: you do need to be a part of a space that uses Cobot software (even a trial!) and you will be responsible for your own travel to/from the event and accomodation. The ticket is a standard entry ticket, and this offer is also limited to people who haven’t already purchased a ticket. But if you’re looking for a way to make it to CU Asia 2019 and stay within your budget, this could be a great way to help make it work.
We will give preference to spaces that demonstrate a strong desire to attend the conference, and a financial situation that makes it difficult for them to attend. This includes spaces that offer unique programming, inclusive design, and other forms of community engagement.
We’ll see you in Goa!
