Here in
Berlin, home of our coworking space co.up and also home of Cobot, the days are getting colder and diving into innumerable tones of
grey — nevertheless it is not a time to get upset. We are excited
because in 4 weeks, the Coworking Europe Conference arrives at our door! We can’t wait to join the crowd from the 11th — 13th in Milan, Italy.
We admit — we are also looking forward to sightseeing in Milan after the
conference. But most importantly the yearly conference is our chance to
meet old friends, new people with thrilling stories and of course
the Cobot user family.
The recent speaker list is already online and offers an interesting mixture of topics, perspectives and backgrounds. For example, you can meet Filip Kabeya from Congo who will speak on the development of the African coworking scene and how Filips coworking space MTechHub in Kinshasa is growing.
Christian Cordes from Germany will on stage talking about the coworking movement, advantages and challenges to organizing national coworking spaces as associations to help strengthen local and countrywide communities and generally spread the coworking idea. We are curious to hear, how the German Coworking Federation is growing.
Also on the speakers list we found Alex Hillmans name again. He is not only a pro on the conference stage, but also founder of Philadelphia’s coworking space Indy Hall and a pioneer in building coworker communities.
Marina Calcagno will raise her local voice. As director of the Milan coworking space StartMiUp, an entrepreneur and leader of Digital Districts Milano, she will provide a dynamic view into the local and Italian coworking scene.
A welcome guest, as every year, is also Carsten Foertsch, founder of deskmag. He does a yearly survey to track the developments in coworking around the world. His 2015 coworking survey is online and we would like to ask you for support. It just takes a few minutes to answer the questions at www.coworkingsurvey.com. First results will be presented by Carsten at the conference.
The coworking conference also includes the traditional unconference and workshops day, which gives the opportunity to discuss in smaller groups more detailed trends and influences on the international coworking scene (such as design aspects or Incubators), but also provides practical tips for best practices and new projects.
If you have a ticket, drop us a line so we can meet you there: support@cobot.me.
If you don’t have your ticket yet, book here!
We hope to see you soon in warm Milan!
Until then we wish you a happy coworking.
Sincerely,
Your Cobot-team
