For our first look at coworking worldwide, we are in Tokyo, Japan. The world’s largest sprawling metropole, where tradition meets cutting-edge innovation. Set in the shadow of Mt. Fuji, Tokyo is home to countless businesses and entrepreneurs and therefore countless opportunities.
Impact Hub: Tokyo, in Meguro city provides the perfect spot for people of all backgrounds to co-create, and gives entrepreneurs the perfect ”Basecamp” from which to succeed.
”Programmes” also allows people to participate in team learnings, further developing their ideas and allowing for constructive dialog between peers. It is exactly this style of mutual help and growth that makes coworking so special, regardless of differences between people, shared learning and collaboration breeds success.
Community is essential for a successful coworking space. Having the opportunity to participate in activities with fellow members is great, especially when food is involved! Impact Hub Tokyo has been recently prototyping their "Deli @Communita.”
This project combines two of the most important aspects of life, living and working, to ensure a healthy balance between the two. This project not only aims to benefit the coworking community, but also the local neighborhood. It is this external outreach that makes the movement so special and unique, suffice it to say that we will be booking a Tokyo-bound holiday in the near future!
