Despite the onset of winter and the approach of Christmas, we are still hard at work delivering updates and improvements to Cobot. So here is what we shipped in November:
PayPal for On-Demand Products
Introducing PayPal for on-demand products: Visitors can now purchase drop-in passes or make bookings quickly and easily using PayPal. This provides a familiar payment method and an even more convenient checkout experience. Ka-ching!
If you want to start offering PayPal to your visitors right away, connect to your PayPal account now using our new integration.
Manual Payment Methods for Drop-in Passes
Haven't been offering Drop-in Passes because you're not using Stripe or PayPal? Here's some good news: We've added manual payment methods for drop-in passes. Now, in addition to credit cards, your visitors can pay for a pass using your own manual payment methods, like cash or invoice.
Streamlined Checkout for External Bookings
No more incomplete bookings: An external booking is now completed immediately after payment – there's no more extra review step required, eliminating confusion for your visitors and reducing the number of abandoned bookings.
We have also enhanced the time selection feature. The selected booking time now automatically aligns with the minimum required booking duration, reducing extra clicks for the user.
Sync Accounting Codes to SevDesk
Our SevDesk integration now has the capability to synchronize Cobot invoices as receipts. With that setup, Cobot accounting codes can be synced as a posting account, simplifying your bookkeeping process.
Improved Access Groups in Dormakaba Exivo
For spaces using our Dormakaba integration, we have implemented a new way of handling bookings: when a member makes a booking, we create a new access group only if there is no existing group with the required access rights. The groups are named more transparently, following the pattern “Cobot <names of doors to access>”.
Other Updates:
Remove File Uploads in Member Questions
Admins and members can now remove files from custom member questions, which can be created as part of the signup process. This gives people more control over their data in compliance with GDPR.
