Our Tapkey integration enables you (our space operators) to fully automate access control for your members using a smartphone-based app that runs on both Android and iPhone.
Our Tapkey integration received a significant update on the 26.01.2024 in order to assure all links and information remains relevant and helpful.
What This Means for You
You can do away with using traditional keys by using a fully virtualized key-management system — no more key tracking, key deposits or messy, outdated spreadsheets! Simply set up rules for your defined access areas from within Cobot to fully automate access to your coworking space. Your members can now use compatible smart locks, wall readers and furniture locks all via their Android phone or iPhone.
The app also works with both NFC (Near Field Communication) and/or Bluetooth — so no internet connection is required.
As with all our partnerships, we aim to simplify management and automate processes so that you have time to focus on what really matters: time for your coworkers.

How does it work?
Tapkey is easy for both space operators and members.
Basically, sign up your space with Tapkey, add the integration from within Cobot and create and edit some plans with Monthly Extras assigned to Tapkey-enabled locks you’ve purchased.
After your members download the app (Android | iPhone), they’ll be able to access different parts of your space with just the app on their phone.
