It’s fall over here, and the team has been busy building new features with a focus on improving security and accessibility. Here are the highlights:
SECURITY & USABILITY
Improved Account Security: Two-Factor Authentication
We’ve introduced two-factor authentication (2FA) – to help keep sensitive data safe and secure.
We asked our CTO Alex to provide some background on the steady development of our security layers:
“Just recently, we added a check that prevents Cobot users from using the 94,988 most commonly used passwords, which helps to encourage more secure password choices.
Today we are adding another layer of security: after activating two-factor authentication, logging in requires you to provide a so-called passkey. The cool thing about passkeys is that they cannot be guessed. They are generated and encrypted by your device automatically. The other cool thing is that you don't have to enter 6 digits from your phone every time you log in – for increased convenience.” – Alex Lang, Cobot CTO
To activate it, head over to Your Account at the top right, Click on Edit on the left, and scroll to the bottom or simply click on this link.
You will find the Enable Two-Factor Authentication button at the bottom of the page
Accessibility and Usability Improvements in the Member Portal
We've enhanced accessibility and usability in the Member Portal to provide a smoother experience for all users, regardless of device or accessibility needs. The community profiles and the invoice list for members got a new cleaner design. And if you look closely, you’ll notice improved contrast and legibility across the Member Portal.

Late Invoices
Keep track of late invoices more easily: there’s now a new tab in your invoices overview to simplify following up on outstanding payments.
INTEGRATIONS
Updated Zapier Trigger for Canceled Members
A new canceled_to field has been added to the member cancellation trigger in Zapier, so you’ll now know the exact cancellation date for each member.
Custom Field for DATEV Integration
You can now define the name of the custom field that will be used for the DATEV account number so that each of your members will have their own DATEV account number. Read more about this in our help guide.
