But for less technically-inclined people, it’s often not that easy to get all the details at a glance. This was the motivation to make it much more accessible for everyone with the help of Zapier. What is Zapier?
Zapier connects over 300 global apps (like Basecamp, Trello or Google Calendar) with an intuitive interface to automate repetitive workflows. It’s a great tool for everyone who wants to connect and organize their daily tasks and work/time management tools in one place. Now Cobot connects with all these apps, too.
How does this connection work?
Whenever something happens in Cobot (for example, when a new member signs up), Zapier can let you know via any other app about this event along with all the relevant details. Watch the video below to see how easy it is:
What else can you do with Zapier?
There are many more things for which the new Cobot / Zapier connection could be helpful, like setting up a meeting over coffee with new members, for example. Whenever a new member signs up in Cobot, Zapier can schedule a reminder in your Google calendar, e.g. 30 days from their membership start date, to save some time for a one-on-one chat with your new coworker to ask how they are doing and how their first days in your space were — a great chance to find out what you could do better to strengthen your community.
Here’s another scenario: get informed faster about your members’ intention to start or cancel their membership. How? Well, you could receive an SMS when a certain coworker has registered for a membership to which you invited them, or you could connect Cobot via Zapier with Slack and get a message in a Slack group when a member decides to cancel their account. This way you can react immediately and welcome your new member, or try to figure out what might change the decision of the coworker who intends to quit before it is too late.
